Notion just released Custom Agents and I genuinely think this is the biggest shift in how we work with tools since... well, Notion itself.

Here's the short version: you can now build AI agents that live inside your Notion workspace, trigger on a schedule or event, read your databases, and do real work while you sleep.

Not chatbots or writing assistants, actual AI employees that operate your systems autonomously.

And the new Custom Agents is not just an upgrade to the personal agent, it shifts the entire future of Notion.

The personal AI Agent (the little face in the bottom right corner that you can put a cute hat on) is reactive. You ask it to do something, it goes and do it.

The Custom Agents are different. You configure them once, set a trigger, and they run in the background without you having to do anything.

The Personal Agent = your AI Assistant.
The Custom Agents = your AI employees.

I've always said the system isn't finished until it runs without you, that's been the North Star. You build processes, document them, automate what you can, and delegate what you can't.

But with Custom Agents, that delegation that you would do at the end, now just turns into Automation with AI because the workflow now becomes the thing you delegate to the Custom Agent.

You're no longer just building systems for yourself, you're building systems for AI.

Notion just went from a tool you use for work to a workspace that works for you.

This is such an important shift for Notion and for us using the tool because it directly impacts (and speeds up) the way we work.

And I just released a full YouTube video breaking down exactly what Custom Agents are, how they compare to ChatGPT, Claude, n8n and Zapier, what they cost, and the Custom Agents I've already built for my life & content business.

I’ll see you inside.

No fluff. Just systems.
