I’ll be honest with you.
It totally slipped my mind to post a daily newsletter today
My girlfriend arrived in South Africa and we were out the whole day so this wasn’t really top of mind.
And you know what? It happens. Because I’m human. And humans are fundamentally imperfect.
Here’s the thing most people don’t want to admit:
Everything you build is a reflection of you.
Your business. Your systems. Your workflows. They’re all extensions of how you think, how you operate, and how you function as a person.
And if you’re imperfect, which you are, because we all are, then your business is going to be imperfect too.
The way your systems are designed? That’s according to how you think. The way your operations are structured? That’s according to what you do.
And the limitations you have as a human? Those become the limitations of your business.
But now with AI and automation, we can eliminate a lot of that.
You don’t have to be that smart, capable or experienced in order to build something that operates perfectly.
Because today you can outsource the parts of the process that require accuracy, consistency, and reliability to a machine that doesn’t forget, get tired or miss posting schedules.
The machine thinks in code and executes exactly as programmed.
And the more time goes on, the more powerful this becomes.
The individual is gaining leverage at an insane rate.
Think about it. A decade ago, you needed a team of 10 to do what one person with the right AI tools and automations can do today.
And it’s only accelerating.
The systems you can build. The automations you can set up. The AI agents you can deploy. They’re all multipliers on your imperfect human effort.
So yeah, we make mistakes, we miss things, we’re not perfect.
But our systems don’t have to also be.
And that’s exactly why building them is so important.
Because every system you create is one less thing that depends on you showing up perfectly every single day.
One less thing that breaks when you’re tired.
One less thing that fails when life gets in the way.
That’s the real power of systems and AI, not replacing you, but compensating for the fact that you’re human.
So stop trying to be perfect, and instead start building the systems that are.
No fluff. Just systems. Chris “The Systemizer” Punt
P.S. If you want help building these systems, just reply “Audit” and we’ll do a free systems audit for your business and identify your biggest operational bottlenecks and how Notion, AI and Automation can solve them.
