You can do anything, but not everything

Work life balance is a myth

I’ve been thinking about “balance” a lot lately.

You know, that idea we’re sold—where you wake up at 5am, meditate, journal, cold plunge, hit the gym, eat clean, deep work 6 hours, maintain great relationships, stay off your phone, create daily content, AND scale a business…

All before 6pm.

It sounds inspiring. But in reality? It’s often a trap.

Because trying to balance everything all the time doesn’t create growth—it creates guilt.

And I’ve learned that real progress doesn’t come from perfect balance.
It comes from seasonal focus.

Right now, I’m stepping into a Work Season.

For the past year and a half, my life was more of a Relationship Season.
I prioritized travel, family, love, community, healing.
And it was beautiful. Necessary. But also, chaotic.

I didn’t have the stability or structure to really build.
I was moving constantly. My routines were broken. My momentum kept getting reset.

And now, it’s time to shift.
I just moved into my own place. I’ve got a studio room I’m turning into a full content setup.
I’m in the process of creating an environment where the default is deep work, content creation, and progress.

Because I don’t want to just work more—I want to work with compounding focus.

And to do that, I need to make sacrifices.

That’s the part no one talks about.

Saying yes to one season means saying no to another.

Yes, I want to bulk up and eat 3,000+ calories and hit calisthenics PRs.
But not right now.

Yes, I want to explore more of Bali and see waterfalls and surf and travel.
But not right now.

Right now, I want to work.
I want to focus.
I want to rebuild momentum and raise my baseline.

Because every time you step into a new season with intention, you don’t just grow what you do—you grow who you are.

And if you try to hold on to every identity at once, you never give any of them a real chance.

So ask yourself:
What season are you in?
What season should you be in?
And what do you need to let go of to truly step into it?

If you’re in a season where you’re ready to streamline, automate, and scale your business with systems, without breaking your brain how to do it—I’d love to help.

I’m currently working 1:1 with business owners to help turn their scattered processes into clean systems, so they can stop reinventing the wheel and start compounding results.

If you want details, reply with “Systemiz” and I’ll send them over.

You can do anything.
But not everything at once.

Stay focused.
