Why Most Creators Stay Broke

Why Most Content Creators Never Make Real Money

Most creators don’t have a money problem.

They have a business problem.

Here’s the reality: You can have thousands of views & subscribers, yet still struggle to make any real money.

Because views don’t pay the bills.

Most creators think they need more reach, more content, more engagement. But the truth is, they don’t need more attention. They need a system that turns attention into income.

I realized this when I grew my first YouTube channel, a lofi channel. I grew this channel to 3.8M views and 18k subscribers in 1 year. And I didn’t make a cent.

The channel couldn’t be monetized due to copyright claims and I didn’t yet know how to monetize an audience. So I sold it for $1.5k, my first ever money online.

That experience taught me a lot, and when I started my current channel I asked one key question.

How can I make money without relying on the platform?

The key is to approach YouTube, or any other platform, as if you’ll never make money from it.

You have to create your own products & services and drive traffic to them.

That’s exactly what I did.

I created Notion templates that solved my own problems, and sold them.

I offered coaching and consulting to people who needed custom solutions.

I built a system where every piece of content leads to an offer.

Now I’ve built a business that doesn’t rely on AdSense, brand deals, or sponsorships.

If you’re a content creator and you’re still chasing views instead of building a business, and you’d like help monetizing your audience with digital products, reply “Monetize”.

I’m helping 3 creators over the next few weeks build digital products, monetize their audience, and automate their backend to generate passive income.

Reply “Monetize” and I’ll send you some more details

No fluff. Just systems.

P.S. For now, I won’t be sending daily emails on the weekends. This will probably change in the future but for now I’ll just be sending emails Monday to Friday. So we’ll talk again Monday

P.P.S. Tomorrow I’m taking my girlfriend on a Safari here in South Africa where she’ll see the big 5 for the first time (she’s not South African). So Monday’s email will hopefully contain a selfie with a lion.

Enjoy your weekend and valentines day :)
