Community Turned a House Into a Home here in Bali
Yesterday was a pretty sad day here in Bali as it marked the end of a very important chapter in my life.
Last year when I arrived in Bali at the Lost Creator House I found myself becoming a part of a community.
And this wasn’t some random co-working hostel type setup or something, no.
This was real genuine community.
And yesterday was the farewell ceremony for the closing of this house.

Through this community I met my girlfriend, I facilitated my first in-person workshop, I developed a strong network of business owners & creators like me, and made lifelong friendships that outlasted the house itself.
The best way to describe the feeling of community for anyone who hasn’t fully experienced it is you don’t feel homesick.
Not because of the location. Not because of the weather or the food or the Instagram-worthy sunsets.
Because of the community.
That's what real community does. It turns a house into a home. It becomes family.
And that’s what I want to recreate for people like me.
Most online "communities" are just glorified customer support groups. People asking questions. Getting answers. Then disappearing until they need something else.
I've tried building communities before. Some failed, some succeeded. Each time I learned what works, what doesn't, what's sustainable, and what isn't.
It’s easy to get a lot of people and put them into the same group, but it’s difficult to build real community.
My experience at this creator house showed me first hand what it takes to build a real and truly successful community.
Now I want to recreate what I experience for others.
First online. Then offline. Because that's where the real magic happens...
When digital connections become physical.
When numbers become faces.
When followers become friends.
I'm going to build this community in public. Document the process. Share the mistakes and the wins. Because building genuine community is more important than building a business. We're all craving to belong, to be part of something bigger, to matter in other people's lives.
The goal isn't just to create another online course or coaching program. It's to create a space where people find their tribe. Where they stop feeling homesick for a life they haven't built yet.
Building a thriving community is not gonna be easy, but you can be damn sure I am going to try (and fail) until I’ve succeeded and built real genuine community like what I experienced.
And I’m taking you along for the ride.
We all need community.
