The Shift That Ends Impostor Syndrome
You'll never be ready...

Howzit ,
I used to think I had to be "ready" before I could start.
Before I could share my journey. Before I could post online. Before I could build a brand.
I needed more experience, more success, more money.
But that’s not how life works.
You don’t get the thing and then become the person.
You become the person, and then you get the thing.
Change doesn’t happen from the outside in. It happens from the inside out.
That realization shifted everything for me.
I always thought I wasn’t a writer. That daily emails would be annoying. That selling every day would turn people off. That I should just “provide value.”
But those were just limiting beliefs keeping me safe. Keeping me small.
So I had to ask myself: What would the version of me who already makes $100K/month do?
Would he hesitate to share his insights daily? No.
Would he be scared to sell? No.
Would he optimize for likes or profit? Profit, of course. We’re solving problems here.
Your brain is a heat-seeking missile. If you set a clear vision and operate from that identity, your actions will follow.
As Maxwell Maltz explains in Psycho-Cybernetics, once your subconscious mind has a target, it will continuously adjust and course-correct until you hit it.
(fantastic book btw, should give it a read)
A person who makes YouTube videos isn’t a YouTuber.
It’s a YouTuber that makes YouTube videos.
Creating YouTube videos is a behavior.
Being a YouTuber is an identity.
Same action. Different identity. Different results.
When you operate from the identity of your future self, success becomes inevitable. Because even when you get knocked off course, you’ll always correct back to who you are.
That’s why impostor syndrome exists. When something feels out of alignment with how you see yourself, you’ll find a way to self-sabotage.
The goal isn’t just to do the things successful people do.
It’s to become the kind of person who does successful things, effortlessly.
So today, I shift.
I’m not just writing daily emails. I’m a writer.
I’m not just growing a personal brand. I am the brand.
I’m not a businessman, I’m a business, man. (okay that one was just for fun).
If you want to see me talk about this shift, how I started my journey, learn how to grow & monetize your audience, and build a business online, check out this podcast I did in Bali last year (get a pen and paper cuz there’s a lot of golden nuggets inside):
Make sure to drop a like and comment on the podcast as it’s still a pretty new podcast :)
Enjoy
