Don’t build your business to hire people

Most entrepreneurs start their business with the wrong dream.

They don’t dream of systems.
They dream of people.

They fantasize about having a “rockstar” team. A right-hand operator. A creative marketing lead. A legendary video editor who just “gets it.”

But here’s the truth:

If you build your business around people, your business breaks when the people leave.

And they will leave.

They get sick. They lose interest. They find better opportunities. Or they simply move on, as people do.

That’s why Systemizers play a different game.

They build their business around systems—systems that people can use.

Systems Don’t Flake

A system doesn’t wake up tired.
A system doesn’t “ghost” you.
A system doesn’t get overwhelmed or have creative burnout.

A system runs, every time.

That’s why the goal isn’t to find the perfect team—it’s to create a perfect system.
Then you hire the perfect team to run those systems.

And if the SOP’s and system is solid, you don’t need to hire the most expensive talent, you just need someone who can follow instructions, efficiently use the system, and is a good cultural fit for your team.

And to know whether or not you already have these systems in place, ask yourself this question:

“Could a stranger follow this system and get the same results I do?”

If the answer is no, it means you have a creative process trapped in your head, and the bottleneck of your business will always be you.
